Spotlight on Me

I want a medical occupation
I want to be the one who runs the nation
My words are a doctor and you are the patient
I will wreck minds like earthquakes with the Haitians
every time I try I reach for the sky
Every word I say make the sky cry
On myself I have to rely
When the world poses questions like why
I have no idea how I'm going to reply
when 2012 comes will we survive
its time we open up our eyes
feel free to speak we not mute or blind
stop being shy and speak your damn mind
see this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine
still have a future because I'm in my prime
just letting the clock tick waiting for my time
as the bell ring i'm stepping in on the line
I'm in the spotlight time for me to shine
